We opened on Labor Day 2009 with the hopes of being the best jewelry store with repair, sales, and custom designed jewelry in Southern Illinois.
In 1993 Don Barden started a jeweler apprenticeship with Brian Knox of Brian Knox Fine Jewelry, in Champaign, IL. After several years with Brian, Don then finished his training with Larry Hustedt of Hustedt Jeweler's in Gibson City, IL. After leaving Hustedt Jeweler's, Don worked at K's Merchandise Corporate Office in Decatur, IL. In 2001 Don had a chance to relocate to the K's Merchandise Carbondale store,and worked there until it's closing in 2006. Now Don Barden and partner Kim Howell are proudly serving many repeat customers. Our customers look to us for great quality and incredible service. We try to deliver on these expectations every time.
